Beyond Good & Evil creator Michel Ancel is once again rousing fans of the franchise, posting art seemingly related to the franchise on his Instagram account.

The unattributed artwork below comes with the message, "Somewhere in system 4 ... - Thanks #ubisoft for making this possible !"

Ubisoft and Ancel have long kept fans' hopes for a sequel alive, although at the moment Ancel himself is working on Wild at his independent studio.

Our Take
Keeping hopes alive is good, but I also think there's a danger in stoking long-suffering fans' hopes too much. This could result in publishers and developers mistaking select fans' whipped-up fervor for widespread interest. Case in point: Mirror's Edge.
