Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's recent pre-order-exclusive beta on PS4 is about to become less exclusive. Infinity Ward is opening up the beta to all PS4 players on Friday, though it is unclear whether or not you need PlayStation Plus.
New PS4 players can pre-download the 20GB beta on Friday, October 21 at 10 AM PST, which is the same time the pre-order-exclusive beta debuts on Xbox One.

Our Take
Exclusive betas always seem a little counterintuitive to fixing issues in a game, so it's good to open up the floodgates for everyone. More people testing the game only helps Infinity Ward and also gives more lower-skilled players a chance to meet people at their skill level. Pre-order betas, in my experience, welcome the hardest of the hardcore and make it hard for more inexperienced players to have fun.
