It was announced today that Gravity Rush 2, the conclusion to Kat's adventure, has been delayed to January 20.
The gravity-defying sequel was meant to release in December, but the development team has shifted its release to next year to move it out of the busy holiday season. "Gravity Rush 2 is the conclusion of Kat’s journey, so we want players to have enough time to dive deep into her story," writes game director Keiichiro Toyama on the PlayStation Blog. "In addition, as a lot of work went into online features that allow for asynchronous player interaction, we want as many people as possible playing the title at the same time."
To make up for the delay, a DLC that was initially planned to have a price tag will now be arriving free of charge, which will bring an additional story to the title.
