During today's Nintendo Switch reveal, the preview trailer showed a quick look at players inserting games into the portable component of the system. The glimpse shown demonstrates that Nintendo's new system relies on small cartridges like the 3DS rather than discs like the Wii U.
We don't know much else about the system, but we do know the third-parties confirmed to develop for the Switch, as well as some of the games shown. We also have a decent idea of how Nintendo Switch works.
Nintendo Switch releases in March 2017.
