Details and a release date for the upcoming PSVR game Tethered surfaced today on the PlayStation Blog. Tethered is a strategy game that takes you to 13 different sky islands to restore the lands to their former glory.
Starting October 25, you can wield your elemental powers and give inhabitants, called Peeps, hope and purpose again. You use Peeps to gather resources and build your defenses for when baddies attack you at night. Your goal is gather enough energy to release the spirit guardian on each of the 13 islands.
With a tethering mechanic, you can control everything simply by looking at two different things you can interact with, such as tethering the weather to strengthen your population or harm foes. Every Peep can be promoted to special professions, such as a farmer, woodsman, or hero. You can create and upgrade buildings along the way to help your Peeps prosper.
