Hyperkin Lab was pretty quick to support the NES Classic, releasing replica controllers and extension cords. Now they're doubling down with an adapter that will allow you to play using your original NES controllers.

This new peripheral is expected to ship November 28 for $9.99, and is compatible with the NES Classic, Wii U, and Wii. The adapter is also compatible with the NES Advantage joystick, though Hyperkin Lab warns that functionality may vary. For more on the NES Classic, read our hardware review.

Our Take
While the chance to use your old controllers is awesome, it further proves that the NES Classic controllers aren't cutting it due to their unusually short cords. Even with the extra cord length of a classic controller, you still have to hit reset to change games, meaning you'll still need to sit close to your console while playing.
