A new commercial for Star Wars: The Last Jedi has emerged, airing first on the Disney-owned ABC. The commercial shows Luke and Rey having a conversation in a tree, a damaged Millennium Falcon, an extra line for Finn, an extended shot of the villainous Snoke, and more. The commercial was captured by Tumblr user pixelrey.
Additionally, in an interview in France, The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson confirmed that the movie has the longest run time of any Star Wars movie in history at 150 minutes (or two hours, thirty minutes). As comparison, here are the other movie run times:
A New Hope – 121 minutes
The Empire Strikes Back –124 minutes
Return of the Jedi – 132 minutes
The Phantom Menace – 133 minutes
Attack of the Clones – 142 minutes
Revenge of the Sith –140 minutes.
The Force Awakens – 135 minutes
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – 133 minutes
It's not a dramatic difference, but it's always nice to set a record.
