Capcom's Okami HD, a second remastering of the 2006 Zelda-like, is coming out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam next week on December 12. To celebrate that, Capcom has put the protagonist goddess on the Steam Workshop as a courier in Dota 2 for people to vote on her permanent inclusion.
Okami was released at the very tail end of the PlayStation 2's life, sporting a water color artstyle and an incredibly lengthy single player. The game was created by Clover, a Capcom sub-studio that focused on prestige titles that eventually split off to become Platinum Games, and directed by Devil May Cry and Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya.
You can catch a video of Amaterasu in action as a courier below. She wouldn't be the first third party character added to Valve's mega-popular MOBA, as Amaterasu is predated by Final Fantasy's chocobo and the goat from Goat Simulator.
