Crossover Fighter Blade Strangers Adds Isaac, Quote, Gunvolt, And More

The Nicalis-published fighting game Blade Strangers was announced a little while ago, but the publisher has been rapid-fire showing off new characters in the last few days.

Today, Nicalis announced that Isaac from Binding of Isaac would join the fight. Previous additions have included Quote from Cave Story, Gunvolt from Azure Striker Gunvolt, Solange from Code of Princess, and Kawase Umihara from Umihara Kawase.

The characters mostly come from developer Studio Saizensen's games, like Code of Princess and Umihara Kawase, and games published by Nicalis. Blade Strangers is scheduled to release on the PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC this summer.

Our Take
I hadn't been too interested in the game at first, but the most recent characters have been quite cool. This might be something to keep my eye on.
