Avengers: Infinity War released this past April and was billed as the most ambitious crossover in history, bringing together heroes from eighteen movies over ten years. With that many characters, it's logical some scenes didn't have enough time, and some got left on the cutting room floor. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we get our first look at one of those scenes.
You can watch the scene here, which we'll summarize below. Be aware these these are still spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War.
In the deleted scene, Gamora has already been taken by Thanos and the other guardians who accompanied her are trying to think of a plan. Quill and Drax are arguing over the choice in music, with Quill insisting on Ace Frehley to help him think. After some bickering, Quill finds out that Gamora's sister Nebula has been sending urgent messages, which Drax has been ignoring because the message notification light is yellow. Nebula tells them that Thanos has taken Gamora to Titan, which is why the Guardians end up meeting Thanos' child Ebony Maw's ship when it lands on Titan.
There are some other deleted and extended scenes in Avengers: Infinity War, which we'll see when the movie comes out on Blu-ray on August 14. A third Guardians of the Galaxy movie is also in the works, but it recently lost director James Gunn due to controversy over decade-old tweets.
