In April, Capcom announced that they would be sunsetting their mobile version of Puzzle Fighter. The free-to-play game wasn't as successful as Capcom liked, leading to them refocusing Capcom Vancouver solely on the Dead Rising series in the future.
The game had its fans, though, especially after the announcement that the game's service was ending, ditching a lot of the free-to-play hooks that turned people off in the first place. If you want to take some characters for a spin and play a little Puzzle Fighter, you have until July 31 to do so.
After Capcom announced their decision to end the game, fan-requested characters like Regina from Dino Crisis were added. It kind of begs the question of whether a few key decisions could have changed the fate of the game.
