Between a new film nearly every year, multiple animated televisions series, and several video games coming down the pipe, Star Wars fans have plenty of ways to further explore their favorite galaxy far, far away. The latest addition to the Star Wars universe is Resistance, an anime-inspired TV series set to premiere on Disney channel in just under two months.
Star Wars Resistance explores stories between the original trilogy and the current, new trilogy of Star Wars films. Taking place a few years before the events of The Force Awakens, Star Wars Resistance follows the story of Kazuda Xiono, a Resistance pilot spying on the First Order. In addition to a voice cast featuring the likes of Christopher Sean, Bobby Moynihan, and Donald Faison, Resistance also features guest appearances from multiple actors from the live-action Star Wars films. So far, Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie have been confirmed to reprise their roles as Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma respectively.
You can see the "First Look Trailer," which shows some of Isaac's appearances below.
Star Wars Resistance debuts on Disney Channel October 7.
