Total War: Warhammer Giving Away Free Content & Update With New DLC

The Call of the Beastmen DLC is out now for Total War: Warhammer. Even if you don't buy the game's first campaign pack, giving the titular Beastmen a story campaign and more, the game has some new stuff in store for you.

The Amber Wizard is available for everybody, whether you buy the campaign DLC or not, and the hero can call in manticores for battle. Also available for the game is Update 2, which includes an A.I.-controlled opposition race, four new custom and multiplayer battle maps, an unlockable lord for those custom/MP battles, and much more. I'm curious if making some of the free content related to the paid DLC will lead more players to eventually purchase the paid content.
