DICE has released the fall update for Battlefield 1, which is designed to address a variety of outstanding issues that players have had with the game since its Oct. 21 launch. Most notably, the game's Operations mode is getting retuned to make it a little easier for players on offense, and the Suez Conquest map is getting a pair of additional flags.
There are a ton of tweaks and fixes in the update, but here are some of the other highlights:
- Rebalanced LMGs to make them more viable mid-range options
- Mortars now have a cooldown before becoming fully accurate
- Frag grenades explode more quickly after a collision
- Fixed some framerate issues with killcams
- Prone soldiers can no longer be pushed by their teammates
- Fixed floating items on all maps
- Repair tools damage the fortress gun
- Players can watch and replay tutorial videos for each of the game's modes in Quickmatch
Check out the next page for the complete patch notes, which, unless specifically called out, are for all platforms.
